Hello, my name is Kari Hoien, the owner of KJ Training & Consulting. I am passionate about providing my clients with the customized software training, support and consulting they need to do things more efficiently, more accurately and have more fun doing it. I provide a wide variety of types of software training including classroom, virtual, one on one, and executive style. I am a proponent for customizing courses to the individual user or the entire class. I develop my own unique curriculum which is used for the majority of my training. I love teaching people new software, old software, software enhancements, and how they can be more effective and efficient with these tools. I also provide consulting and training on core Microsoft applications such as Access, Excel, Outlook, One Note, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Visio, and Word as well as other software including but not limited to Adobe Acrobat, Quick-books, Constant Contact, and Captivate including custom programmed applications constructed by our team of programmers. I provide Microsoft Access database development services in which I help customize database solutions for organizations. I have experience developing e-Learning content, using tools like Captivate and Articulate to provide asynchronous training for custom and industry specific software. I am looking to align myself with additional corporate clients and continue to grow my business by providing these types of services to additional clients. Ann Miller is a Microsoft Support Specialist for KJ Train Consult with extensive experience in the

Microsoft Suite of products. Throughout her career Ann has utilized the Microsoft applications in real

life business settings. Creating spreadsheets, dynamic PowerPoint presentations, and creating manuals

in word are just a few examples. She understands issues from a user’s point of view and understands

the importance of solving problems in a timely manner so users can get back to work. Ann’s customer

service and training background provide a great foundation for her current Microsoft support role.

Ann lives in Lake Elmo with her husband and 3 kids. She is actively involved with the community and her

kids’ schools, helping with Microsoft applications where she can.
